Applications now open for 2025 ‘Open Minds - Young Voices’ Youth Activists Programme!

The Open Minds - Young Voices Programme (OMYV) is an empowerment programme organized by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), a German political foundation. It aims at developing young, motivated and outspoken Nigerians who are working and advocating for social justice and good governance. We look for individuals with great leadership potential in their respective fields who want to shape the society they live in. Successful applicants benefit from educational modules that enhance their knowledge on issues of socio-economic and political relevance in Nigeria. Practical sessions include inputs and discussions on various socio-economical topics as well as skills training on project management, group facilitation, conflict management, advocacy and leadership.

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) is a non-profit German foundation funded by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and headquartered in Bonn and Berlin. FES is the oldest political foundation in Germany. It was founded in 1925 and named after Germany's first democratically elected President, Friedrich Ebert.
